More About Carson
Growing up, Carson lived in various areas of the United States from California to New York and several places in between calling Rochester, N.Y. his “hometown”. Carson received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University where he was a member and captain of the University’s Rugby team and was selected to play in the Collegiate National All-Star Tournament. While studying at Purdue, Carson joined the U.S. Army Reserves spending his summers going through basic training and infantry school at Ft. Benning, GA and supporting the reserve drill sergeants as a member of a reserve drill training unit.
After graduating from Purdue, Carson had the amazing opportunity to spend a year playing rugby and teaching English in Japan. Since returning to the United States, Carson has had a successful career in operations management for a national distribution company achieving the position of Regional Operations Manager for the Southeastern US. Carson furthered his education by graduating from Indiana University’s MBA program majoring in Finance and Marketing. Continuing his rugby career, Carson competed at the highest levels nationally and successfully took the Indianapolis Impalas rugby team to the National Final Four Championships as its head coach.
Carson has always been driven to contribute more to society and his community. He felt the most success when the employees he managed and the players he coached were successful. This desire to contribute more to his community is what drove Carson to become an attorney. While working full-time as an operations manager, he attended Florida A & M University College of Law where he received his J.D. degree graduating with honors.
Since graduating from law school, Carson has worked in the area of Family Law, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, parental rights, child support, property division, and domestic violence/injunctions, among other related areas. His compassion and ability to understand and communicate with clients, his extensive business experience and financial education are what separates Carson from many other attorneys. He understands complex financial situations and the importance of minimizing the impact of a divorce on children.
Carson is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and at the Federal level as a member of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. Carson is a member of the Family Law and the Real Property, Probate, & Trust Law (RPPTL) sections of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, the Central Florida Family Law Inn, and the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association.
